Anti-Coil Break installed at Heidtman Steel Cleveland
Heidtman Steel has recently completed installation of a Pro-Eco Anti-Coil Break
Roll unit to the pickling line at its Cleveland Ohio facility. This is the third
equipment enhancement to the pickling line which already contains a Parsytec defect
detection system, and a Bradbury roller leveler. The addition of the Anti-Coil Break
unit enables Heidtman Steel Cleveland to more effectively participate in surface critical
applications for both sales and processing customers.
The unit’s processing capabilities are:
- .060 minimum thru .160 maximum thickness
- 24” minimum thru 60” maximum width
- 20,000 PSI thru 50,000 PSI material
