Heidtman's wide variety of high-quality processing services provides our
customers with the single-source convenience they demand.
Through our expansive service center network, we're able to control a wide
variety of processes in locations throughout the nation's leading industrial
centers, further increasing our cost effectiveness, efficiencies and convenience
to our customers.
Heidtman offers the largest pickling capacity of any flat-rolled service
center in the U.S. with seven continuous HCL lines strategically located
throughout the U.S. Plus, most of our pickling facilities are located
adjacent to producing mills, eliminating the time and cost involved in
transportation to an off-site facility. Many of our pickle lines have shape

slit HR and HRPO up to .625 thick, and tandem products as low as .010. Our
capabilities range from as narrow as 5/8" up to 72" in width to accommodate
the varied markets that we serve.
Our leveling and cut-to-length capabilities accommodate a wide variety of
requirements: Coils from .015" to .500" in thickness Widths up to 72"

Our joint venture facility National Galvanizing LP in Monroe Michigan
offers unique heavy-gauge hot dipped galvanized and galvannealed
capabilities. The line produces a full range of coating weights on
hot-rolled base coils, and is the only line in the western hemisphere
coating coils up to 1/4 inch thick. .

Edging capabilities at our Erie, MI facility include: .100" to .500"
thick 1" to 8" wide
The revolutionary SCS sheet descaling process produces a dry, clean,
corrosive resistant surface by brushing away all but a micron thin layer
of scale. The oil free surface enhances welding performance
(no fumes, less weld spatter), increases laser speeds, and leaner paint
